Campbell has over 25 years experience in the financial services industry; most recently as CEO of AssetCo as well as current chairman of the The Big Exchange and Deputy Chair of Ruffer Investments. His former roles include Global Head of Distribution at Standard Life Aberdeen, CEO EMEA & Global COO of Columbia Threadneedle Investments, and Head of UK at JPMorgan Asset Management. After being admitted as a barrister, he worked for financial services regulators in the UK and Australia before joining the investment industry in 1997. Campbell has had extensive involvement with trade associations as former chair of ICI Global, the Investment Association Trade Committee and the IMA Operations Committee in addition to former seats on the advisory and statutory boards of TheCityUK and The Investment Association.
